Presented by LaunchCLT, The Big Pitch is our headline competition, designed for standout seed-to-Series A companies ready for the spotlight. Pitch live in front of investors, founders, and a packed stadium room for a chance to win up to $100K in investment from The Charlotte Fund.

The Showcase (Growth Stage Companies)

The Showcase features growth-stage companies with real traction. These teams are scaling through customers, expansion, partnerships, and smart capital strategy while building the visibility and relationships that matter for what’s next.

Only companies selected to compete in The Big Pitch are eligible for Charlotte Fund investment consideration.

Two $50K investments will be awarded. One company may receive both for up to $100,000 in total investment.

We’re looking for high-potential startups that are:

Based in AL, FL, GA, KY, MD, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, or WV
Technology-based or tech-enabled
Pre-Series A with < $5M raised
Registered as a C-Corp‍
Led by at least one full-time founder

Field-Level Awards Ceremony

The Big Pitch wraps with a field-level ceremony inside Bank of America Stadium. Winners are announced live and presented with their award checks on the 50-yard line during our Summit Celebration.
