The Big Pitch (Seed Stage to Series A Ventures)

Presented by LaunchCLT, The Big Pitch features 10 selected companies + 1 Startup Alley Wild Card pitching live for up to $100K in investment from The Charlotte Fund.

Startup Alley (Seed Stage to Series A Ventures)

The next 10 companies selected get booth space to engage investors and demo your product. Attendees vote for their favorite, and the winner joins The Big Pitch as the 11th Wild Card presenter with a shot at $100K.

The Showcase (Growth Stage Companies)

Invitation-only, 20-minute investor showcases for growth-stage companies with real traction. These teams aren't pitching for investment prizes. They're here to tell their scale story and connect with strategic capital partners.

Eligibility note:

Only the 10 selected Big Pitch finalists + the Startup Alley Wild Card (11 companies total) are eligible for Charlotte Fund investment consideration.

Two $50K investments will be awarded. One company may receive both for up to $100,000 in total investment.

Who Should Apply

For The Big Pitch & Startup Alley, we're looking for high-potential startups that are:

Based in AL, FL, GA, KY, MD, MS, NC, SC, TN, VA, or WV
Technology-based or tech-enabled
Pre-Series A with < $5M raised
Registered as a C-Corp‍
Led by at least one full-time founder

Field-Level Awards Ceremony

The Big Pitch wraps with a field-level ceremony inside Bank of America Stadium. The Investor's Pick and Founder's Pick winners are announced live and presented with their award checks on the 50-yard line during our Summit Celebration - a moment you won't forget.
